My role was to manage the affiliate program and help accelerate its online revenue activity. I worked alongside with major affiliates who specialised in areas such as cashback, discount vouchers, content marketing, news media and browser extensions, to execute the affiliate strategy. I was also responsible for bringing Paperchase into the podcasting world by working with well-known podcasters to create sponsored ads on their shows.

One of those methods is through their Affiliate Marketing Network, called Surge Affiliate Network. The network regularly makes use of various online traffic methods such as Display, SEO, Media buying, Social, PPC, Native & Content traffic to build leads for clients. My role as an affiliate-marketing executive was overall to co-manage all aspects of the Surge Affiliate Network. My role is to: • Create daily and monthly revenue reports, showing the campaign performances and affiliate partner performances. • Set up new affiliates onto the network, which included set-up of tracking links and campaign set up. • Manage campaign activity from current affiliates to ensure optimised performance and prevent any fraudulent activity. • Set up new offer campaigns onto the network, while working closely with clients to ensure good quality results and their brand image is portrayed suitably & effectively. • Liaison with the finance team to ensure affiliates are paid timely. • Acquire new partners to grow the affiliate network.• Negotiating with clients and affiliates to maintain target profit margins.
