Global Head Of Solutions EngineeringKaltura Jul 2017 - Dec 2022Remote First, UsI joined Kaltura (SaaS video platform) during a period of rapid growth as a Solutions Architect Director, quickly advanced to EMEA Sales Engineering Lead, and then to Global Lead of Sales Engineering. I worked across verticals in media, enterprise, and education:- As a member of the leadership team reporting directly to the co-founders, I was responsible for leading a global team of 40 sales engineers and RFP managers, arranged over six global sub-teams. I ultimately played a key role in the efforts to take the company public.- Rebuilt the entire Sales Engineering team; created various SE sub-teams around the globe by organizing them into different business verticals and regions: EMEA, APAC, NA Enterprise, and NA Education, including a new Security team. I created an environment of shared sales targets, common best practices—such as standardized demos—and heightened teamwork.
