I am a microbiologist specialising in plant-associated bacteria. Currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, I have dedicated over a decade to this field. With a background in bacteriology, mycology, molecular biology and microbial ecology, my work focuses on stress response, metabolism, molecular signalling pathways, and physiological plasticity in plant-microbe interactions. I have made significant contributions to the scientific understanding of how plants associated with mutualistic bacteria, which has implications particularly for sustainable agriculture, ecological resilience, and soil health.
