Startup specialized in the production of mobile robots for security and safety.- Improved critical elements of the software stack, such as the simulator and the localization algorithm, by improving their speed, performance, and maintainability.- Designed a new volumetric change detection algorithm to successfully detect anomalies such as fence holes/breaches using point cloud data.- Helped the team meet the client’s expectations.

Internship follow-up on a semester project at the Predictive Control laboratory.- Designed the full control software stack of a small-scale electric thrust-vector-controlled rocket prototype, including optimal minimal-energy guidance and model predictive control algorithms, as well as a state estimation algorithm (EKF).- Updated the existing mechanical design for improved robustness and look.- Implemented sensors that enabled successful outdoor flights.- Published a paper to ICRA 2022 (Philadelphia, USA) highlighting the results of the internship.
