• Provide guidance on youth and women programming (starting with computerlab-based ICT promotion in Kawngware slums in Nairobi, the innovative youth and women programming rolled out to the pastoralist areas of West Pokot. Solar powered digital (computer) labs opened the youths and women in targeted areas to digital communication. As a result, the West Pokot program received support from Edukans Foundation, The Netherlands, which enabled it construct four permanent classrooms, with half the cost of the project being local contribution).• Supported in innovative fundraising (a gym centre, a stabilized brick-making enterprise, a theatre initiative, etc were started in Kawangware slums in Nairobi. Popular comedians – Mchungaji & Mtumishi , as well as the famous story teller George Chunga “Punglu Pangla” are just but a few of the results of the efforts.• Assisted in efforts to bring quality Early Childhood Development (ECD) to children from poor backgrounds.• Assisted in linking APC to the University of California, Davis, which resulted in the funding of their project Promotion of Orange-Fleshed Sweet Potato (OFSP) Production and Post-Harvest Management through Farmer Empowerment in Emuhaya Sub-County, Vihiga County, Kenya that trained over 200 women in the targeted area in OFSP enterprise.
