Group Controller - Operations
Current* Tier II automotive supplier of seat frames and mechanisms* Financial oversight of 7 operations (USA, MX, Poland, China)* Financial duties include month end closing, monthly forecasting, annual P&L & capex budget, and support during external audits* Develop standardized policies and procedures* Compute profitability by part & product line* Focus on improving inventory reporting and control (cycle counting)* Work with plants to develop and track cost reduction projects as well as KPI's* Strong standard cost experience. Work with plant Controllers to update labor and burden standards annually, using activity based cost drivers * Lead role in providing/defending cost information to an OEM during price increase negotiations* Numerous analyses including profitability by part, program and customer, freight and warehousing cost savings, and pro forma financials for a new brownfield plant
