I am a Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions at the Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK), the statutory agency that promotes and safeguards competition in the Kenyan economy. With over 10 years of experience in this field, I hold an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria and a PgDip in Economics for Competition Law from King's College London. My core competencies include merger analysis, policy development, stakeholder management, department management, and economic analysis. I am passionate about ensuring fair and efficient competition in the economy and protecting consumer welfare. I have contributed to the development and implementation of relevant guidelines, procedures, and systems in compliance with ISO standards and best practices. I have also participated in the formulation and implementation of cooperation frameworks with other regulatory agencies and international organizations.
