 As a key strategic business partner to the CEO and the organisation’s leadership team, provide proactive financial support across the business. Oversee the financial and accounting management, internal and external reporting, and treasury functions. Ensure that efficient and accurate financial forecasting; management reporting, and planning systems are in place. Support the CEO in the preparation of realistic operating budgets. Coordinate the ongoing financial analysis and risk management activities of the company’s operations, interpreting and presenting relevant financial data to the CEO and the management team, and making appropriate recommendations. Develop and implement plans to optimize the company’s capital structure and the financial strategies for the company’s growth and development. Maintain and expand banking relationships to support market access in the company’s future debt and equity sourcing activities. Work with the CEO in coordinating the strategic planning process to evaluate growth opportunities through joint ventures, acquisitions and internal expansion, as well as internal restructuring. Manage tax planning and reporting activities and maintain liaison with service providers. Maintain a system of internal controls and audit procedures, including managing the company’s relationship with its outside audit firm. As a member of the senior leadership team, contribute to decisions, which affect the enterprise as a whole.Reports to the Managing Director.
