I acquired essential hands-on experience in letting vacant office space during a working student position. Our aim was to lease two floors with a total of 450 sqm office space in Zurich's vibrant "Seefeld" area. We subdivided the space and offered office-as-a-service hence attracting small corporates, start-ups and freelancers paying a fixed base rent with with a variable component in combination with flexible lease terms in order to take into account their individual situation. As a result, we created an open office space community with the benefit of creating synergies between the companies and Federas AG as the lessor of the space.
