• Performs geographic and non-geographic data manipulation, management and analysis, cartography, and utilizes GIS processes using a variety of software environments.• Gather, analyze, and integrate spatial data and determine how best the information can be displayed using GIS.• Enter new map data through use of GIS software using the principles of cartography including coordinate systems, longitude, latitude, elevation, topography, and map scales.• Working Knowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts such as spatial analysis, map projections, etc.Software Knowledge:• Working ability in GE Smallworld NDS, ESRI ArcGIS, Mapinfo or other GIS Applications• Basic Alteryx Skills• Working ability in FME, SQL Developer, Toad and custom tools such as Spatial Manager• Working knowledge of CAD software.• Intermediate MS Office Tools• Advance working skills in Spatial databases and related components

● Independently identify land measurement reporting needs for continuous improvement, for potential purchases● Prepare market analysis reports to assess property values before a company makes a purchase. ● Find leads of potential land purchases, compile market activity and financial trends, and evaluate and analyze the cost and benefits of the purchase and create tools to improve reporting and management of land data

• perform a variety of duties, which includes reading detailed utility work order descriptions, interpreting utility maps and sketches, data editing and manipulation and analysis within GIS, project specific specification review, technical documentation, data quality control and assurance.

• responsible for checking emails, reviewing the documents attached and ensuring the documents are uploaded to the correct customer file in the database

• Develop, maintain and update system facility records maps sketches and working designs in GIS and Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. • Updates existing maps and computerized drawings and databases to reflect additions removals and other changes to land bases and company owned pipeline facilities. • Prepares charts graphs drawings and other visual aids used in presentations. • Maintains library of maps and related databases including computerized maps obtained from various sources

• Update and Maintain Cadastral data; Update address and planimetric data;• Field data collection including utilities, facilities, and environmental datasets• Conduct QA/QC tasks and reviews necessary to support the delivery of high quality GIS data, applications and services;• Create, update, and maintain other GIS layers using ArcGIS desktop and ArcGIS Online platforms

• Perform tasks in the photogrammetry unit to ensure information is delivered to designers or consultant managers on or before deadlines as set forth for projects in the 3 year program• Use MicroStation and GeoMedia Professional to produce, review and modify mosaics.
