Project Controls Manager
CurrentPrimarily responsible for cost and schedule controls of contracts. Establish a uniform and consistent basis for Project Controls with the Group. Work directly with the Group President, Division Managers in conjunction with Corporate Project Controls to achieve their goals with respect to cost control. Set up all Job Information Sheets in the Financial System utilizing Penta/Viewpoint. Establish WBS budgets and tracking systems to control project costs and monitor physical and earned progress. Set up and maintain projects in the financials system (contract type, budgets, change orders, etc.) as necessary. Ensure contract billings are submitted timely and comply with contract requirements. Train project staff on project controls structure and philosophy. Oversee each division's cost forecasting and overall responsibility to complete Costs-To-Complete forms. Produce and distribute the following Reports: Accounting Books, Cost-To Complete Report, Burn-Off Report, Work In Progress Report, AR History Report, AP Forecast Report, and Man-Hour Report. Oversee and update each active project(s) Project Forecast Summary Reports (PFS). Prepare Monthly PFS Updates for presentation to Senior Management and Corporate Management. Produce and distribute Monthly Financial Reporting to Senior Management to include: Profit and Loss Statements and Balance Sheets. Oversee each of the division's A/P Process of electronic routing and coding of 3rd party vendor invoices in a paperless environment. Interface between the project teams and home office departments regarding costs issues (Finance, Accounts Payable, Equipment Yard, Payroll, etc.).Respond to Financial Audit Questionnaires, Contract Reconciliation Requests as well as Client Audit Requests.
