1.Deciding on the framework on the basis of which story is interpreted/ presented on the screen.2.Ensuring effective story narration through editing, sound works and good visual quality by colour correction.3.Choosing an idea, script, book or play to turn into a Television Programme.3.Managing pre-production and postproduction activities and ensuring that the project is completed within the targeted time frame.4.Supervising the shooting/ filming operations and ensuring that the set budget is not exceeded.5.Ensuring quality of the finished product, monitor editing and mastering of Films.5.Working with Studio Executives and Department Heads for continual process improvement.6.Creating good promos.7.Building the story & content, creating plots & character; creating subplots & tracks to support the main story.8.Develop compelling script to translate into visual images, the events and dramatic moments of story lines. 9.Coordinating with the dialogue writer and the direction department for smooth functioning at the execution level to maintain the interest level of the target audience.10.Undertake extensive research, discovery & crystallisation to ensure that final result is in place.

Objective: Heading the operations of the Studio division and being responsible for project schedules and deliverables as per timelines. Work schedules will be tight and may involve working late hours. Travel may be necessary for recordings, sound mixing or other duties to Bombay and other centers.Reports to: MD & CEO.Work relations: Coordination with other HOD’s and free lance directors & other technical crew of all projects. Major Tasks: 1. Overall in charge of the audio department2. Music Composing & Programming3. Supervising Pre-production (scripting, screenplay etc)4. Post production areas.5. As the HOD, lead and manage the team of technicians in the department administratively and ensure that they are motivated and work as a team to deliver the desired results.Key result areas:1. Conceptualization or improvisation of concepts.2. Coordination with free lancers appointed for all projects (Script, Dialogue, Screenplay writing etc.)3. Creation of songs and other audio clips (Lyrics, Composition, Execution of recording, Mixing etc.)4. Video editing & Audio dubbing5. Sound efx, Background music, Final Mixing.6. Supervision of Lab works & Graphics
