As a seasoned software engineer, I have had the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams of engineers in architecting innovative software solutions for commissioning and acceptance testing of meters. Utilizing a diverse array of languages (Python, HTML, JS, PHP, C#) and cutting-edge technologies (Kivy, WPF, ASP.NET), our team has excelled in an Agile environment using Azure DevOps, which has expedited continuous integration and delivery of robust ASP.NET and function applications. In addition to this, I have been involved in designing, developing, and enhancing sophisticated desktop applications using C# to efficiently manage and interact with SQL Server databases, leveraging multiple state-of-the-art technologies (Entity Framework, Dapper, and DbUp). My contributions to code reviews and design discussions have helped identify challenges to adoption of APIs and suggest solutions through code, API design, or documentation. My responsibilities have spanned the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including gathering requirements, developing project timelines, coordinating deployments, and providing post-release support. I am a strong advocate for coding best practices, incorporating unit testing, peer review, and separate development environments to optimize the development process and bolster overall code quality. My collaborative approach with stakeholders has resulted in the conception and implementation of ingenious solutions that drive user adoption of development tools and enhance overall satisfaction and efficiency.Furthermore, I am passionate about mentoring and guiding junior software engineers, fostering a dynamic culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and professional growth within the team.

Within this role, I developed into a recognized, world-class community expert and leader in machine-byte code and associated devices that used it. My mastery of a wide array of technical topics and continuous development of innovative analysis capabilities earned me the Meritorious Civilian Service Award. I established and trained teams of engineers internally, across the Intelligence Community (IC), and with foreign partners to expand analysis toolsets to other machine-byte code formats, forging several relationships with organizations inside the agency, across the IC, and with foreign partners.I developed additional capabilities for the engineering tool suite by including the ability to modify the data after translation to introduce new functionality. I advanced the analysis capability, making the agency the Center of Excellence and a key component of DoD's Joint Federated Assurance Center. Additionally, I developed a regression test framework to ensure that all code branches under development continued to support finalized solutions.

I developed a novel method of extracting data from byte code instead of brute forcing an understanding of each bit. I implemented a mask that decreased the overall time to the final solution, allowed for parallelization, and improved the accuracy of results. I pioneered a single framework containing hundreds of solutions in the main tool, instantly providing users with current solutions and future capabilities.I evaluated competitive software developed by contractors to identify potential limitations of the government solution. I developed a C# object model that contained a human-readable version of the machine byte code and was capable of regenerating the same data from which it was produced. I presented engineering developments at several conferences to inform the Intelligence Community about the access to new capabilities assisting in key government programs.I created a novel engineering capability (main tool) by transforming machine-byte code to a human-readable format through the use of background database files, visualizing the output of this process to aid in engineering analysis. Additionally, I translated several databases of binary data from an undocumented format into a human-readable format. These files could be altered manually or programmatically to achieve the desired result on the main tool.
