Raphaela has extensive experience working with international students and immigrants in higher education, ESOL classrooms, and nonprofit contexts. Her previous roles working as an English teacher and then in an international student office sparked her interest in working in immigration and social justice at a nonprofit. Now as the Manager of Foundation Relations at the Rian Immigrant Center, she is responsible for writing and managing grants, maintaining relationships with funders, and researching new prospects. Raphaela is delighted to help make a meaningful impact in the lives of immigrant and refugee families.
