I research future trends and topics for Futurium, a place that revolves around the question of how we want to live in the future. Currently, I am focusing thematically on the future of democracy (2023) and the future of raw materials (2024).What do I actually do? I conduct background interviews, attend events and research current challenges and debates as well as interesting solutions and actors on selected future topics, summarize these findings in short papers and advise my colleagues on implementation in our three program pillars (exhibition, events, lab/workshops).

I led projects in the field of European democracy and international dialogue. Among others, I coordinated the following projects:1. "Europe takes part" in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut and the German Foreign Office, where we shed light on the role of arts and culture in Europe and aim to strengthen its actors through the use of digital tools.2. "New Urban Progress" in cooperation with the Alfred Herrhausen Society and the Progressive Policy Institute in Washington D.C., where we brought together 20 German and American fellows to foster urban innovation and democratic renewal in the spirit of transatlantic dialogue.3. "Berliner Bürgerdialog zum sozialen Europa" in cooperation with Initiative Offene Gesellschaft and Berliner Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa, in which we brought together representatively selected Berlin citizens in a dialogue format as part of the conference on the future of Europe.

I worked on the promotion and coordination of the digitalisation of higher education at the European level. In November 2020, I've organised the Main Stage Event of the "DigiEduHack 2020" in Berlin within the framework of Germany's EU Council Presidency in cooperation with six project partners. In February 2021, I organised "Future Education", a two-day event on the future of higher education in cooperation with the Falling Walls Foundation.
