About Raphael Biau
My interest in business and finance drove me early in my life to invest personally during my free time. I decided that this was something I wanted to do as a career. My activities as a retail investor drove me to become a diligent, analytical, and curious analyst.I also knew that going to business school would be a great step for me to gain a lot more knowledge about business and finance. This academic background turned me into a problem-solving individual with great team-working skills. My commitment to excellence motivated me to join to the MSc finance program of SKEMA, ranked 3rd worldwide by the Financial Times. While I was at the business school, my curiosity for the research industry became a passion. I passed the Level I of the CFA Certification and will pass the level 2 to gain specific knowledge. I also realized an internship in buy-side fixed-income research and in asset and liability management. Through these experiences, I reinforced my writing, planning, and creativity skills while transitioning towards a career in research. I will join Tikehau Capital in July for a position of fixed-income research analyst intern until December.I do believe that I can perform within research divisions while reinforcing my knowledge and become an expert.Thanks.
