A versatile and adaptable all-rounder, I consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work across a range of governmental, voluntary and academic contexts throughout my career.  This has given me knowledge and expertise in various professional disciplines, as well as a wide range of transferable skills.  With an extensive track record of applying well-practised analytical, budgetary and workforce management skills, I consistently ensure completion of projects on time, to scope and within budget.  My motivation to focus on policy development with the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, and my service as a Board member with Sea-Watch Germany, both reflect a desire and ability to shape the “big picture”.  I am always looking ahead, always anticipating the factors or challenges that may impact (positively or negatively) on organisations.  Underpinning this “up and out” perspective, my eye for detail and methodical approach enable me to apply forensic analysis to data, and ensure that organisational decision-making in relation to such challenges can be informed and evidence-based.  At a personal level, I thrive on the new and the different, and am stimulated by the opportunities offered by the unknown, and relish being able to explore untested directions. I consider myself to be positive and pragmatic, using a natural understanding of others in order to unify joint effort, build trust and lead by example.  I am not afraid to offer constructive feedback and challenge, where that might be required, and my positive and supportive approach to doing so has been recognised and appreciated.  Feedback indicates that I am known for my commitment and dedication to the task at hand, able to manage the competing demands of a heavy workload efficiently, but without compromising effectiveness.  Rather than automatically accept the status quo, I embrace opportunities to take a fresh approach, and place a high value on working collaboratively with colleagues, and external stakeholders.  My unique blend of expertise is easily transferable, enabling me to contribute to organisations of all sizes and operating in all sectors.  Perhaps most importantly, I prioritise an ethos of integrity, inclusion and personal accountability in all individual, team and organisational activity.  Please connect with me if you would like to know more about how I can support your organisation.  It would be great to chat.
