During my time working with the company, my main responsibilities were as follows:- Responsible for the design of effluent treatment plants, which included producing the detailed technical design; management of timescales; liaison with suppliers on availability of technology; and risk and opportunity management.- Conducting environmental audits; cost characterisation of effluents; treatability studies; and the optimisation of treatment systems. - Understanding the performance of the existing effluents in field; conducting Failure, Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to ensure the product design was fit for purpose and eliminated any failure risks while in service. - Responsible for procuring the equipment and materials required for the construction of effluent treatment plants (managing spends of up to €150,000); engaging with suppliers who were experts in the field. This included conducting vendor appraisals.

During my time with the company, my role and responsibilities were as follows: - Responsible for the testing and analysis of four different raw materials to determine how they could enhance Laufenberg’s existing portfolio of silicone-coated release liner products. - Responsible for material testing, assessing materials’ characteristics when mixed with silicone and determining the potential benefits they offered. - Responsible for development of the end-to-end processes for the new silicone product, including all stages of the life-cycle design, project planning, manufacturing and testing to ensure a high-quality product.- Responsible for the performance of the new product, addressing areas of non-performance and implementing corrective measures and process improvements to ensure the product was managed throughout its life-cycle in the most effective way possible.

My role encompassed the following key tasks: - Responsible for the production of fragrances, ensuring a safe and efficient manufacturing process using SAP/R3.- Responsible for analysing the performance of the production line and of individual employees, and putting process improvements in place. - Responsible for the measurment and analysis of team performance, and for identifying and resolving any bottle-necks in the production process in order to make it flow more smoothly. - Responsible for the analysis of the machinery and materials used in the production process to identify changes aimed at reducing production costs.
