In a short time, I was promoted and took part in the creation of new services for the company, such as mobile app development and infrastructure management. Seeking networking opportunities and technical expertise in web development, I moved to a software factory, where I was able to work on projects for companies in different sectors, such as energy, retail, finance, and healthcare. After this experience, I joined a logtech that was later acquired by Mercado Livre.Having achieved my goals of improving my network and gaining a certain level of technical knowledge, my next step was to pursue technical specialization to progress as a full-stack web developer and finally as a tech coordinator.At this point, I received an offer from Medcel to join their software engineering team. Over nearly 8 years with the company, I advanced from a junior software developer to a technology manager. After a merger process, Medcel became Afya (NASDAQ: AFYA), and at the same time, we went public on Nasdaq in 2019.In 2022, I received a great offer from an edtech to be the company's CTO, leading essential challenges for the evolution of their product.Throughout my journey, I maintained a focus on execution. Despite the fast-paced technology world, where awesome tools emerge and fade along the way, one thing remains certain: simplicity consistently yields good results and keeps the team focused on the goal, whether for a robust team of 50 software engineers across multiple platforms with strict compliance rules or for a modest, multidisciplinary team with greater work flexibility.
