Raphael spearheads its innovation and sales related initiatives. Raphael also serves as CEO and Managing Director of Moristic Group Canada and President of UpWeeGo Children’s Products. Raphael is the former President and Managing Director of Tree Fresh Juices Inc. which eventually became Costco’s largest single strength juice supplier in Canada. Within the food industry he gained valuable hands on experience setting up several manufacturing and processing plants including large scale refrigeration, processing equipment, plate-heat exchangers, bag filling stations and other mechanical and production line related items. Following the sale of Tree Fresh to Ault Foods a subsidiary of Labatts in 1992 Raphael operated a privately held company called VendTech Refreshment Services for two decades. As the main foodservice supplier to the Petro Canada Oakville and Clarkston facilities he acquired a key sense of the refinery operations. Beyond these tenure he has worked with a wide variety of retail and consumer good companies, with emphasis on strategic planning and business development. Raphael’s experience also involves successfully raising venture capital including ODC/EDC government loans and a 2018 Bloom clean tec demonstration grant. As a mentoring industry partner and chair to Mohawk College’s “Idea Works” innovation program he helped project students acquire valuable OCE learning grant (Ontario Centres of Excellence).
