Install, configure, and support of cisco LAN switches; Production network, management network, corporate offices and third-party network, mobile money network colocation network (ICT).• Ability to provide end-to-end capabilities to evaluate, design and optimize the data center network infrastructure.• Configuration of cisco access point for MTN connect stores, B2B and walk in centers• VLAN configurations for new hosts.• Plan, integrate, troubleshoot and resolve problems in order to stabilize and optimize customer networks.• Implement and activate new features as well as change upgrade or replace hardware or software of IP Networks.• To manage performance tuning and capacity planning activities to enhance the performance of the network resources.• Analyze user support statistics and other data and recommend appropriate measures.• To supervise other network support technicians and plan, co-ordinate, and implement network security measures.• Ensuring the security of the network at all times.• Maintain network and workstation hardware and software.• Ensuring proper Data Center Cable management.• Monitor the data center/colocation environment to ensure network availability and perform necessary maintenance to support the availability.• Provision of LAN and SAN connection to hosts in the environment.• Assigning of IP address to servers and network devices in the data center.• Support and manage 3rd party links and VPN access for ICT customers • Establish performance benchmarks, Conduct analyses on all aspects of the data Center Facility operations and maintenance.• Work with data center manager, data center team and other vendors to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability and efficiency.• Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical Data center components.• Assist in the design and build out of new facilities.
