I started my career in media as one of the first five employees of MediaPlex in 1998. This company grew to over 200 employees in a year, riding the internet boom of the late 90s. Fast forward to today, and I am enjoying this digital ride more than ever. We've got a lot of challenges to solve--from privacy, cookies going away, a focus on short-term ROI, etc. Seems like a new challenge comes up everyday. That's what keeps me in this industry though. There's always a better solution and you can only get to that solution by asking a better question. I have always believed in placing small bets on the latest technology or marketing trend and not giving up if it doesn't work the first time. There aren't mistakes as long there are learnings to have. My proudest accomplishments at Marcus Thomas are growing the media department from 6 people to close to 30, future-proofing us along the way, and winning some of the most prestigious, national advertising and media awards by driving results in innovative ways. Outside of Marcus Thomas, I love riding motorcycles, surfing, DJing and making music. My husband and I are also the proud owners of The Rowley Inn, a restaurant featured on Diners, Drive-in, and Dives.
