GDF SUEZ Energy Canada, Caribou Wind Park

• Responsible of day to day operations, special projects, health and safety and environment of a 99MW wind park located in isolated wilderness Caribou Mountains, 70km from Bathurst.
• Coordinate multiple contractors on day to day and on special projects for the good operation of site (15 staff/days);
• Maintenance of 40km logging roads, HV lines, fiber optics and 33 Wind turbines pads;
• HV Substation operation and maintenance;
• Wind Turbines troubleshooting and optimization;
• Network and IT infrastructure design, maintenance and operation;

Provided electrical engineering services to clients across Atlantic Canada from concept planning through completion. Started with only one staff in department in 2006, and grew to 10 employees in 2009. Responsible for service offers, RFP’s, engineering estimates, production deadlines, staff management, engineering design budget, determining scope of work.

Provided Research and Development (R&D) for an electrically assisted water rescue craft and land recreational vehicle. I have Assisted the company to access R&D grants with FIA and APECA. Worked in laboratories in Moncton University and designed a multi-powered electrical drive train system using renewable energy. I also created computer-modeling software.
