Senior Hr Analyst

Hr Analyst
As the HR Analyst, provide enterprise wide support and analysis on information with the HR Systems of myHR and myTime. Through this analysis I understand the cause of the issues identified and develops recommendations and information related to the resolution of the issues. Acts as CIBC subject matter expert on data in the myHR and myTime interfaces. Provides back office user interface (BOUI) to various representatives across the organization ensuring data is uploaded correctly into peoplesoft and has the accountability in maintaining certain records, when issues arise work with the service provider to obtain resolution. Provide data and reports to internal clients to be used in the development of policies and procedures and to monitor compliance within them this includes making recommendations and drawing conclusions, determining the approach to be taken to resolve issues. Act as a resource to other areas across HR and have provided vacation back up support for senior members of the broader team. Manage the enterprise wide security and access administration. Perform verification activities for security administration and delegation of roles ensuring the appropriate access is in place. Complete investigations for the CIBC Privacy Office, in relation to issues have been reported with security roles and access. Identifies the required date fields and parameters for adhoc reports and requests the reports from service provider. Provide support to the HR Simplified launch in terms of UAT testing, production testing, taking part in project meetings and sessions for issue resolution. Part of the project team on the 2012 Year End Vacation project, which included defining scope, communications and reports analysis for the clean up of vacation and the carry over exercise. Liaise broadly across the enterprise and service provider with relevant corporate and business functions often at a senior level.

Liaise with Senior Management within HR Services & Operations and within various lines of businesses to resolve any escalations that may arise. Oversee initiatives that impact service delivery for e.g. bringing files held in custody into compliance with Privacy and Retention guidelines when these guidelines are revised. Ensure the coordination of department activities with other areas, for e.g. filing and reporting on submission rates for PMMs. Track and resolve escalated issues further escalating issues to senior management as required to ensure effective and timely resolution. Oversee the creation of reports related to the team’s services that are provided to clients, CIBC Senior Management and Internal Audit. Conduct ongoing reviews to identify opportunities for program improvements. Perform internal controls,using checklists, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and comply with CIBC’s policies and CIBC’s procedures. Participate in governance processes such as internal audits. Ensure expense management policies and procedures are adhered to.
