Dans ce cadre, la mission de mon stage a été de prendre en main la modélisation de l’essai de fatigue (MTS test) sur l’aube Leap 1A réalisée il y a 5 ans, et de préparer la modélisation de l’essai de l’UHBR à partir du retex obtenu.Missions:- Prendre en main une modélisation historique (Patran - Samcef) de l’essai de certification en fatigue basse fréquence de l’aube de soufflante- Recaler ce modèle par rapport aux résultats d'essais obtenus par stéréo-corrélation- Appliquer au calcul un modèle d'endommagement multiaxial, pertinent pour cette pièce en composite tissé 3D, permettant une meilleure compréhension des résultats d'essai obtenus par stéréo corrélation- Identifier les enjeux du calcul et les paramètres pertinents pour ensuite mettre en place la modélisation du prochain projet sous Workbench

Étudier le procédé de fabrication des pièces en acier de réacteurs nucléaires forgées et usinéesAnalyse et révision des procès-verbaux des traitements thermiques, essais mécaniques, et contrôles non-destructifs pour justifier la validité des pièces.

Development and health monitoring of damage tolerant aerospace composites using advanced inter laminar nanofiber. These nanofibers are made of nylon 6,6 electrospun on prepreg material. The project consist in creating these new composite materials, and then specify and run tests to assess their structural properties. Interlaminar fracture toughness (DCB and ENF) and impact properties at different energies will be investigated, and different chemical analysis will be run to explain the material behaviour.

PROJECT "From Plants to Planes": improving performance of composite aerospace structures using Cellulose Nano-Crystals (CNCs) derived from vegetable materials.AIM: produce a new generation of composites with multi-scale reinforcement, carbon fibres at micro-scale and “green” CNCs reinforcement at nano-scale. These composites will have high strength, stiffness, and fracture toughness and thus a significantly reduced delamination failure, increasing safety and lifespan of the critical component used in aerospace and motor sports industry.ACTIONS: • Gather a literature review on the different existing technics to toughen composites, as well as their utilisation in aerospace structure and the way to make them benefit efficiently from CNCs.• Plan and execute series of experiments to incorporate the CNCs in the composites and evaluate the impact of their concentration on the interlaminar fracture toughness.• Model the fracture initiation and the crack propagation found in the sample on an aerospace component (stiffener).• Present the work done and results obtained: at 0.67 g/m² the increase was of 186% in mode I interlaminar fracture toughness initiation. These were beyond expectations and called for further research.

Study and comparison of different mechanical properties of epoxy sealants during curing.GOALS:• Establish a correlation between the evolution of different mechanical properties: hardness, shearing strength, compression strength, and stiffness in function of temperature for different mastics types• Examine the suitability of the hardness test as an indicator of the mastic polymerization state• Gather a database of tests results to optimize the manufacturing steps duration during a tanker membrane’s fabrication.SKILLS:• Communication with engineers and technicians in the team• Autonomy in mechanical tests specification, planning and execution• Results synthesising, analyzing, and presenting

The "Entrepreneurial" is a competition where groups of engineers and accountants students simulates the creation of a start-up around a project that is innovative. The simulation includes technical product specifications and creation of credible business plan. Technical leader of a 4 student team, we designed the HDream project which won the "Manag'Ing Innovation" award of 1000 € !

Windsurfing instructor passed at the organization “Les Glénans” obtaining a instructor diploma certified by the French Sailing Federation (FFV). Training lasts a total of 7 weeks, based on technic level, pedagogical skills, and teaching situations.• 6 weeks spent at the Roaliguen sailing school in Sarzeau during the summer of 2014• 5 weeks spent on the island of Fehmarn, Germany, as a volunteer instructor in 2015 at the "Surfspot Lemkenhafen"• Obtained VDWS international windsurfing instructor diploma in Fehmarn• Supervised groups of trainees of all ages and levels, with responsibility for their safety at sea

Within the R&D department on site, I was charged to prepare the samples (catalysts in the form of granules) before expedition to the customers, including:• Collecting appropriate production samples in the industrial site• Processing various machines so the samples are fit for shipment• Communicating with the laboratory to check the samples meet the quality requirement
