A nine-week full-time bootcamp to be trained as a Web Developer on the most up-to-date skills including HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, JavaScript(ES6), jQuery, APIs and React.Key Achievements:- Project one: coded a webpage using CSS & HTML based on a PSD, to convert it into a functional, responsive website. - Project two: coded a multi-page responsive website using CSS & HTML, based on a multi-page PSD. I had to make design/UX decisions and put some thoughts into how users might interact with the site on various devices. The project was organized using SASS and Flexbox.- Project three: coded an interactive jQuery site based on a scope I created and got approved by instructors. I created an app, which is a slot machine game using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Working and committing on GitHub throughout the whole project. The app was live on GH Pages. - Project four: collaboratively created a web application using JavaScript and a Public API: MovieDB. I used the pair-programming method and worked collaboratively with a partner on one computer. It allows us to strengthen our competence in pair programming and communication. - Project five: using the React library I had to create an interactive application. It allowed me to strengthen my understanding of React basic concepts as well as error handling and UI design.- Project six: mimicking the agency environment, I worked in a small group to build simple web applications for a client. We delivered a functional product using React/API, sticking to a timeline, and collaborating with other developers on GitHub.
