Part of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Fusion Ops team at Meta São Paulo (LATAM). I am responsible, in cooperation with my team, for safeguarding the security of our client's operations and day-to-day functioning in Latin America, with a focus on three axis: People (safety of personnel, contingent workers and partner individuals) Assets (safety of offices, buildings and relevant company infrastructure) and Reputation (integrity of platforms and safety of the entire Meta Family of Apps experience for everyday users).

- Monitor general security and security-influencing risk trends in the local, national and regional level in Brazil and other areas of client interest in South America- Data Analysis for producing reports and updates on security, sanitary and socio-economic risks- Managing social media (LinkedIn) & content producing- Aiding Compliance & Investigations department in comprehensive research on frauds, integrity issues & general information gathering for client demands

- Daily monitoring and oversight of security affairs in Brazil as a whole and specific regions of the country;- Social, economic, sanitary and reputational monitoring (economic intelligence);- Direct collaboration with the head of projects on Economic Intelligence (EI) risk analyses;- Conduct documentary research on open sources, verify sources of information;- Support the elaboration of notes and briefs, as well as monthly and quarterly detailed reports to be provided to clients as security-related information material;- Support the structuring of the Risk Analysis department.

Part of a global community of expert contributors providing timely risk scores for 15 risk sub-categories, grouped under Economic, Political and Structural risk, as well as "Access to International Capital Markets". Scoring by experts is grouped into aggregate and detailed scores, and made available for Euromoney Country Risk (ECR) subscribers.Contributed to the Q2/2020 risk scoring for Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile.

Aided a specialized risk consultancy in their year's end demands for periodical reports on political, economic and security-related developments in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile which could be a source of opportunity and/or risks to clients, having produced approximately 15 timely reports.In a second emand, which ranged from late January to late February, I have aided the same consultancy in producing a customised report for a client with a stake in the then-upcoming March 15th tender of State-owned airports in the Northeast. The report included security risks in and around the airports, their use for means of counterfeit and drug-smuggling, relations with local communities, corruption-related media mentions and use for political purposes, among others. It also included briefs on the changes of rules between different State-owned airport tenders, since the first auctions in 2011-12, as well as past and current difficulties experienced by previously tendered airports. The report was widely appreciated and received positive feedback by both the consultancy as well as the final customers.

Main competences include:- Assist in producing a weekly forward-looking report on the main political and economic developments of the coming week and detailing most likely scenarios and outcomes;- Producing alerts detailing and analyzing recent developments in Brazilian politics bearing an impact over client activities;- Organizing, reviewing and compiling weekly newsletter containing general Political, Trade and Macroeconomic developments, as well as specific sectoral developments and events for the following week;- Contribute with writing said newsletter's Political session, particularly the Executive Power-related sub-session, describing developments and analyzing relevant political, social and economic impacts;- Assisting in the production of a monthly report on all issues pertaining to a client from the home & personal care sector, particularly in the overarching political developments;- Produce monthly notes on general political and government-related sectoral developments in Colombia and Panama for a client in the foods & pet care sector;- Assistant consultant to the Energy sector accounts - Oil & Gas exploration, oil refining, electric energy power grids, hydroelectric power-plants and sugarcane industry: oversee important public policy issues regarding one or more energy-related sub-sector, especially regarding Legislative developments; occasionally produce urgent alerts on said issues; accompany congressional public hearings and ministerial sectoral meetings, produce public stakeholder profiles (elected politicians both local and national, public servants from regulatory agencies and ministries, etc.); occasionally assist in producing weekly newsletter notes on recent issues concerning client activities;- To assist the consultant in charge of the Energy sector accounts in meetings with clients and public stakeholders (i.e. elected authorities, regulatory agents).

Responsible for influencing clients' pre and post-market entry decision-making at key levels:- Creating English-language reports advising clients on political and social developments, mostly in Brazil and the Southern Cone region, as well as their impact to the overall investment environment;- Creating customized consultancy projects on general and comprehensive aspects of security, government relations, corruption risks, among other local, regional and national-level risks;- Complying with specified short term demands, such as credit assessments, local-level security assessments, among others;- Constantly updating online retail data regarding the overall social-political-economic backgrounds of several countries in the Americas.- Occasionally assisting the Compliance, Forensics and Intelligence (CFI) department in due diligences and fraud-related investigations.

Consultant at the Business department, initially in charge of reviewing and updating the company's bibliography and methodologies.Took part together with the Business department as a researcher in two internationalization projects, the first with a foreign company wanting to enter the Brazilian market for security alarms as client, and the second with a Brazilian company of the footwear industry seeking to expand its commercial footprint into three foreign markets.Main research themes were:- Relations between base and target country, bilateral and multilateral trade agreements, import taxes, protectionism;- Overall economic landscape in target country (GDP growth, consumption levels, inflation, taxation, interest rates, etc.);- Proper scoping of target market (region, income group, age group, gender, etc.);- Main aspects of target market (market size, competition, potential for growth, entry costs, etc.);- Market entry strategy (prospect local partners, importers, manufacturers, etc.).
