Wedding photography is one love of mine. Capturing a day in the life of a man and woman in love and committing with their families to live life together is a beautiful day to be a part of. I especially love capturing the moments that are not "big" but silent and treasured. I work seamlessly with the venue, DJ, families and coordinators. My job is not just to capture the day, but to be where I'm needed at the right time and help facilitate anything the bride or groom might need to keep the day rolling smoothly.As a photographer during the time that digital imaging started, it was an interesting time to witness and be a part of. It was exciting - lots of possibilities, as well as conflicting on whether to leave film and my beautiful Hasselblad behind. Today my Hasselblad is the most expensive piece of art work in my home.The early 2000's to 2020 were filled with sports and family activities. 2023 is seeing the rebirth of my passion for photography.Capturing the day to day lives, families, Seniors, Proms, Weddings, Quince, engagements and elopements are my primary focus. The more unique and one of a kind the better!

Exchange students and host families have multiple layers of support with AFS. The first line of support is with a liaison, who is in contact with the students and families monthly. If there are any concerns that the liaison needs help with, or safety, behavior or health concerns, that is where I step in to help out. Any international or independent travel needs to be cleared with AFS and I acts as the communication channel for this, alerting the local team to travel of the students. As the support coordinator, I am always involved with any family changes that need to take place within our team. I've found that my skills of listening, asking questions, experience being an exchange student and a host parent are valuable with this challenging part of the job.I'm in awe of the people involved with AFS in our team who dedicate so many hours each month to help bring greater understanding of cultures around the world to our communities. Our high schools are enriched by what they share with our kids daily.
