Maritina Rapti was born in Athens. She studied “Communication and Mass Media” at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Faculty which combines theoretical training with practice. Obtaining the skills of critical analysis, she specialized her academic interest in the field of European & International Relations, completing her master at the Department of “International & European Studies” at University of Piraeus in 2011 where she participated in many seminars and workshops.During her undergraduate studies, she worked as an intern at the ex Greek Radio Television (ERT) as a journalist and a freelance writer at a local newspaper in Ioannina city. After her studies, she worked both as a journalist in local newspapers and for the magazine “Travel Times” in Athens, and as a communications consultant in greek research agencies as well. Since February 2014, she has been working as a journalist and this year as a Head of Press Office at the “Institute of Research and Training Affairs (I.R.T.E.A)” in Athens. She speaks English and French and is highly qualified on MS Office.
