I recently graduated from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies with a degree in law, fulfilling a long-held aspiration to become a lawyer. I believe strongly in the transformative impact that legal professionals can have on society. In my view, awareness of one's country's laws is essential for a better life and enhanced societal awareness. Personally, studying law has significantly boosted my confidence across all aspects of life.During my time in college, I actively pursued several internships that enriched my understanding and skills. A major part of my internship experience was at Aggarwal and Associates, where I engaged in legal drafting, extensive research, daily court visits, and participated in client meetings. My work spanned diverse legal domains, notably focusing on NDPS, POCSO, Criminal Law, and Civil Law. I found particular fulfillment in criminal law due to its complexity and the direct impact on justice.I also sought exposure to corporate law and gained valuable insights during internships at Auro Law Firm and KNT Law Firm. Additionally, I had the privilege of assisting counsels under an AOR of the Supreme Court, contributing to drafting and conducting in-depth legal research. I took responsibility for preparing case briefs and developing pointers for cross-examinations, tasks that further honed my legal acumen and attention to detail.For me, the study of law is not merely a career choice but a passion that continues to excite and motivate me. The practical knowledge gained from courtroom visits was particularly enriching, reinforcing the theoretical foundations learned in classrooms.I am eager to embark on a career that allows me to leverage my skills and knowledge gained from these experiences to contribute meaningfully to the legal profession and society at large.
