Hello! My name is Raquel, and I am a broadcasting student graduating from Central Carolina Community College. I am also an early college student, and I have graduated from Lee Early College High School in May 2022. I have over 2 years' experience in both radio and television, and over 4 years in food service. I also started my own business called Raquel Chanell Modeling. Raquel Chanell Modeling is an upcoming modeling agency focused on providing full-spectrum management to both upcoming and experienced models and entertainers. I am now about to go to Fayetteville State University where I will be commuting to school every day. I have experience in teaching and tutoring, as I have spent the past year working as a part time AVID Tutor at Southern Lee High School in Sanford, North Carolina. I worked at Mcdonalds since the age of 15, moving on to Burger King in 2021 due to me moving to another city. I am now in search of an afternoon part time job. I am a determined, quick learner, excited to take on new challenges and opportunities.

Summer InternWlhc Fm May 2022 - PresentSanford, North Carolina, United StatesAt WHLC, I help program daily music logs to air live. In doing so, I buy and upload songs from iTunes into the station. After uploading new songs into the computer, I then put them into the system to be aired at a scheduled time. I also record other voice tracks from other people to be sent out for commercial production, I also record and edit voice tracks, as well as edit and produce voice over commercials. I have taken part in finding prospects for radio advertising. In doing so, I have learned how to make personal relationships with prospects to help build business relationships. I have also learned how to draft narrative proposals for prospective clients, as well as what to do and how to conduct a sales call to potential clients for information. I've learned to do my research on prospects to see how radio advertising can help them. This position has really taught me how to be a team player, and it has helped me realize the skills I have personally than allow for me to be a team player. -
