It felt impossible to imagine a light ahead.I slowly climbed out of that dark valley. And now I am able to thrive and give back.Through sharing my mental health journey openly, I've become a voice of understanding for those struggling silently.My mission is to help erase the stigma around depression and suicide, especially amongst our youth. I aim to provide a message of hope.By living life to the fullest, I am able to inspire others going through their darkest moments. My painful past now powers my purpose of uplifting people.I've spoken candidly on dozens of podcasts and livestreams about battling depression, overcoming and finding meaning. There is light ahead - I'm proof.⛵️ I launched a YouTube channel called 'Raq the Boat' to uplift young voices through candid conversation.In a judgment-free space, kids of all ages can speak their truths without filter. They feel truly heard, seen and valued.My goal is to empower youth to embrace their unique stories and perspectives.By opening an authentic dialogue, I aim to build their confidence and self-worth.Youth share their knowledge, creativity, empathy and vision for the future. Their ideas spark change.'Raq the Boat' chats validate that their voices matter. Kids walk away feeling energized and heard.When given room to shine, our youth astonish us with their wisdom, resilience and heart. This channel helps amplify their ripples into waves.
