Desarrollo contenidos educativos para ser incluidos en libros de clase y plataformas online para la enseñanza de inglés como segundo idioma a estudiantes de primaria.

Enseño inglés a alumnos de todas las edades y niveles (A1-C2), tanto en clases grupales como en formato 1-1, en una academia de English Connection. Utilizo una técnica de enseñanza dinámica e interactiva para ayudar a los estudiantes a mejorar sus habilidades de expresión oral, auditiva, lectora y escrita, así como prepararlos para aprobar exámenes oficiales de inglés como Cambridge u IELTS.

Individual 1-hour online classes, supporting students of various ages and abilities in Psychology, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. I provide creative and adaptable teaching techniques to ensure proper understanding of the content.

Providing educational support in Spanish Language and Maths to students in a secondary school (ages 15-17), helping them develop the study skills and understanding of their course content in order to be better equipped to pass their exams

During my Master's in Educational Psychology, I worked within the SEND department at Colegio Mirasol. My main functions were:-Individual support to students in the subjects of Mathematics, Spanish language and English as a foreign language. With special emphasis on guidance and help for students with special educational needs.-Application and analysis of psychometric tests, such as the WIPPSI and WISC V, to determine the type of support appropriate for the students, based on their abilities and needs.-Supervision of extra-curricular activities, and assistance in the creation of presentations for the mediator program.-Help in the writing of technical reports, indicating the performance of the students to identify possible channels of help for their school progress.

Working within the SEND team as a Learning Support Assistant at St. Anne’s Catholic School has allowed me to pursue my passion for helping children and young people achieve their potential, while putting in practice the knowledge acquired throughout my Psychology degree. My main jobs include:• Taking initiative in supporting pupils individually and in small groups.• Organising keyworker meetings and interventions for pupils with specific needs eg. Year 7 Reading Group.• Contribute in editing and developing the SEND booklet ensuring that it contains correct and up-to-date information about learning disabilities and how to support pupils with special educational needs.• Supervising students during break and lunchtimes.

This Summer I did an internship with the Marketing team at Vocalink, a Mastercard company. The very first day I got involved doing some translations of videos in Spanish and Portuguese as part of the South America project. Throughout my time with Vocalink, I attended several meetings and supported the team with various tasks in order to get a deep insight into the workings of the company and the various roles within the team. Throughout my time there I also worked on an individual project including a brief, a proposal and analysis of results. In the last week I delivered a presentation to showcase what I had achieved throughout my internship.

'ERGUE-TE' is a Portuguese charity that works with women that entered prostitution, helping them breaking the exploitation they live under and training and coaching them to change their lives and pursue new careers. I did some work experience for ERGUE-TE during the Summer where my main duties included researching valuable information to add to the files, systematically find new contacts to add to the database and organise food banks. To me the most rewarding part of the experience was getting to know how Psychology (my degree) could be used in a practical way and how I can make my work meaningful in improving people's lives.
