◦Resolve a variety of purchasing issues/problems for both internal and external customers (i.e. unblock invoices to secure payment for vendors, provide expediting services as necessary, disputes for “out of scope” changes, etc.)◦Investigate departmental requests for various types of maintenance and repair; make decisions and/or recommendations based on the priorities of the request.◦Evaluate cost estimates provided by other sources (vendors and other city agencies) by determining time, labor and material requirements for the completion of service activities.◦Develop list of materials and labor costs for recurring maintenance and/or other services.◦Under little or no direction, coordinate, plan, organize and administer the scheduling of general planned and preventive maintenance, and the repair and construction of facilities and equipment using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (MP2) and (AS400) program.◦Participating Administrator for MSDS Raw Material.Maintain, Process, and Expedite MRO requisitions.◦Reports to Manufacturing Services Manager difficult maintenance situations through written reports and memos explaining the unusual circumstances; discusses options and recommends course of action to be taken.◦Prepare reports by compiling and assembling data on all maintenance and repair activities.◦Maintain preventive maintenance procedures taking into account the frequency associated with the change in system requirements and historical information; keeps current on new developments in maintenance and materials technologies.

◦Provide guidance in solving problems such as expediting acquisition of supplies to meet unanticipated demands for United States Navy (USN) operations.◦Supervise the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems in a state facility, for a group of buildings.◦Plan and assign the work of subordinate employees, to review work performance and products to ensure conformance with established methods, policies, and procedures.◦Establish and maintain contracts and outline agreements consistent with the requirements dictated by customers using specifications for products or services.◦Order material from internal and external sources and purchase supplies by cash or contracts.◦Perform stock recordkeeping, stocktaking, inventory control; and maintain accounting and financial records.◦Operate computer systems (Nalcomis Systems) to account for all government supplies.◦Coordinate the accomplishment of inventory management activities concerned with supply management to assure adequate supply posture in consideration of past and anticipated demand or consumption, stock rotation and other factors.◦Meet with representatives of customer field activities, divisions, directorates, and staff offices concerning policies and procedures to attain maximum supply control and to discuss and resolve major supply problems.◦Study, evaluate and revise existing methods and procedures for receiving.
