I am a part of the Talent Acquisition team at Weyerhaeuser, a leading timberland company that owns and manages millions of acres of forests. I have a BA degree from UC Irvine and a certificate in Human Resource Management from UC San Diego Extension. I also hold a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute. I have a passion for finding and attracting the best talent for Weyerhaeuser, and ensuring a positive and smooth hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers.In my current role, I work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and the business leaders to understand the staffing needs and the talent market, and to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and processes. I source and screen candidates for various positions, and coordinate the offer and negotiation process. I also manage the onboarding and orientation programs for new hires, and provide support and guidance throughout their employment lifecycle. I leverage my skills in HR, onboarding, orientation, and employee relations to create a welcoming and inclusive culture at Weyerhaeuser, and to foster a strong sense of belonging and engagement among the employees.
