Autonomous stock exchange trader operating in the Brazilian market, buying and selling stocks and futures contracts.

In this role I had the opportunity to work in several projects that would be produced on GM's Gravatai Plant, working together with Design, Product Engineer and Production Engineer to make vehicles robust enough to be produced with the required quality of General Motors. Usually, my activities were related to Trim Line, which include parts being assembled in the interior portion of the vehicle. Activities included virtual analysis; ergonomic analysis; FMEA’s; process planning; layout adjustments; tools and equipment planning, purchase and installation; first units validation prior to regular production; production launch.Some of the projects are: -Celta and Prisma facelifts for Brazilian market;-GSV (Global Small Vehicle), a new project over an existing architecture, for Brazilian market;-GEM (Global Emerging Market), a new architecture and five different vehicles, involving Brazil, China, USA, Germany, Argentina and India teams.In parallel, I usually accepted additional tasks that were not related to any specific project, but were important to the General Assembly department, as follows:-IRT leader, leading issues resolution team meetings during vehicle launch phase to address product, process and supplier issues.-Four corners group participant, discussing how the work of Manufacturing would impact in the final design perceived by the client. -Standardization of process inside the department, in order to facilitate the learning process of new co-workers and guarantee that all necessary tasks would be done in each activity.

In this role I had the opportunity to work face to face with colleagues from different countries and cultures, mainly Chinese and American, since we were developing the architecture of global vehicles that would be produced in Brazil, China, Argentina, India and Russia.I was the Manufacturing Engineering for General Assembly and I had a Chinese pair with the same role, so together we needed to analyse the project and discuss with Design, Product Engineering and other departments in Manufacturing Engineer. This project was a huge challenge to all the team. Besides the manufacturing and product requirements were the same in General Motors globally, they were treated differently in each country. In addition, we had to manage cultural differences that impacted the way that negotiation was taken.

Standardization SME (Subject Matter Expert) in Global Manufacturing System group for Manufacturing Engineer. The work was related with lean manufacturing and included the preparation of training material and the support for Manufacturing Engineer. In this role I had the opportunity to visit different GM plants in Brazil, Argentina and Egypt, in order to identify opportunities to improve processes, eliminate waste and increase efficiency in the factory.

This small company is a service provider for big chemical companies like Petrobras and Comgas. I was responsible for the populational study and the calculation related to risk analysis studies, mostly in gas pipelines areas.

The Rhodia Chemical Plant, which produced mainly esters, had a Laboratory of Research & Development where I worked reading scientific articles and testing the process of esterification of sugars.
