As the Senior Director of Development, I lead the fundraising strategy and execution for the organization. This includes corporate giving, foundation giving, major gifts, alumni giving, and stewardship of all our partners. New Memphis offers programs, events, and initiatives for Memphis area talent for collegians, interns, young professionals, mid-career leaders, educators, and senior executives.

As the Director of Partnerships and Advancement, my goal is to increase the number of local organizations that engage with New Memphis through programs, events, initiatives, and other funding opportunities.Now more than ever, Memphis needs talent. Our businesses need talent to thrive, our government needs talent to solve problems, our schools need talent to educate our youth, our communities need talent to innovate and work for a better future. We are forging a more prosperous and vital new Memphis by developing, activating, and retaining talent.

— Develop and market year-round programs to generate revenue — Programming includes but is not limited to day camps, enrichment camps, academic programming, after school care, after school enrichment programs, tutoring, music lessons, and athletic clinics.— Develop, implement, and evaluate mission-based goals for each program and ensure the needs of St. Mary’s families are being met— Writing responses to grants for funding community outreach programs— Managing purchasing, vendor contracts, salaries, and hourly wages to ensure a net gain for St. Mary’s operating budget— Hire, train, and manage a team of 20○ Includes providing professional development opportunities in coordination with the AssociateHead of School— Serve as a support administrator for the Early Childhood, LowerSchool, MiddleSchool, andUpperSchool divisions— Partners with community vendors and the faculty and staff of St.Mary’s to teach programs— Ensure that programming adheres to the Tennessee Department of Education standards

— Proactively arranged and engaged in meetings with business leads, potential clients, and existing clients (CEOs, CFOs, Marketing Directors, Operations Directors)— Prepared and presented proposals and pitches to prospective clients○ Wrote technical grants for our non-profit and educational clients to help them secure funding for website and branding projects— Consistently met and exceeded sales and revenue goals— Developed multi-channel marketing and business development strategy with clear and measurable goals; managed internal marketing and advertising budget to ensure increases in inbound leads— Represented RocketFuel at industry and community networking opportunities.— Managed a project load of 7-10 projects at a time while bringing in the majority of new business revenue for the company
