I'm a HR/People Operations professional with 13+ years of experience growing and improving company cultures, at companies of various sizes and industries, mostly in the creative and media spaces. I thrive best in fast-paced, creative and startup environments. One of my strongest skills is to successfully balance the needs of the business with the needs of its employees, in a calm and approachable way. I've created internal HR practices from the ground up on my own, and have also worked on multiple teams. In the last 5 years I've gained significant experience defining and identifying company DE&I goals and strategies in an effort to build more inclusive workplaces where all employees feel like they belong and are valued. I've really enjoyed this work and would love to continue flexing this muscle.I consider myself a true "generalist" in that I excel in all areas of human resources: performance management, employee engagement, employee development and training, benefits administration, employee relations, compensation, policies and procedures, planning company social outings and off-sites, executive leadership, immigration/visas, office management and more.One of my deep passions is employee mental health and wellness. In 2019 I studied and completed a 200-hour yoga instructor certification. If there is anything I can do to help my employees find balance at work and in their lives, I'm on board.Overall, my career journey is marked by my ability to build and enhance organizational cultures, optimize HR processes for both business success and employee well-being, and drive DE&I education and initiatives.
