Billing Co-Ordinator
This was a short-term role covering staff maternity leave. I managed the client billing and revenue reporting for the Gen-i shared services group, delivered via the Telecom NZ Service Delivery Platform. I was required to manage and coordinate the monthly billing processes for each of the Service Delivery Lines. This involved the collation of all billing data (using automated systems), billing reports, quality assurance and validation of Telecom customer contracts. Manual processing was required for the billing for new and existing clients for project work and MAC's (Move, Add, Change). I also managed, produced and distributed regular monthly, and on request, management reports to the Account team and Service Line Managers.A key aspect of this role was to manage and resolve account and billing queries. I supported the implementation engineers, project teams, and investigated contract or billing issues sometimes under immediate request.**Key Responsibilities**- Work and liaise with other groups within Telecom and Gen-i.- Ensure accuracy of billing data entered into internal systems.- Check new customer statements to ensure billing implemented accurately.- Audit customer billing against current service contracts.- Action and resolve customer billing queries.- Create and maintain billing processes and quality assurance.**Key Achievements**During a contract audit, I identified a number of billing errors which resulted in account charges being backdated to the customer, and a financial recovery to Gen-i in the order of $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 of unbilled services.
Product Implementation Specialist
I was a project subject matter expert with the objective to upgrading Telecom's existing internal fault management system to manage both their own internal and external customer premise equipment (CPE).
