Expertise in intellectual property rights, including, IP online enforcement, brand protection, contracts, to trade secrets, patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade policy, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), as well as negotiations, government relations, and public speaking. Lead IP expert for the U.S. government in Anti-Counterfeiting initiatives, Online enforcement advocacy, IP policy issues affecting U.S. industry, business company consultations, protecting famous brands, and coordinating legal strategies for effective global brand expansion and enforcement. Coordinate the U.S. Dept. of Commerce's relationship with commerce agencies in several Asian and Latin American countries, including China, Japan, and Korea, and maintain an ongoing dialogue on Intellectual Property policy issues of mutual interest. Work with other U.S. government agencies to develop broader intellectual property and trade policy approaches. EU - Consult with U.S. companies and EU counterparts to resolve ongoing copyright, trademark, and trade secrets infringement matters (including related IP policy concerns).
