I'm a photographer turned business manager in Seattle, Washington. After a successful photography career, I pivoted to UX only to bang my head into the COVID-19 shutdowns of 2020. But when my puppy fell in love with my now-business partner, I entered the world of dog care and have never looked back. These days I focus my design, photo production, and business ownership experience on shaping a unique dog services business that is user— AND dog— centered.How did UX translate to dog care?I fell in love with the user-centered design principles, and saw a way to make a difference in everyday lives. Design thinking has helped me see each day as an opportunity for iterating, and I like this as a framework for being a better human. These same principles guide my management of Mr. Pups Pet Care.
