🟪Years ago, in a small Jamaican farming town, my journey to founding Bunchful began. Each morning, I accompanied my grandmother to perform a simple act of kindness: she brought meals to our frail neighbor, sometimes forgotten but held dear by her unwavering compassion. When he passed away, he left his modest home and small plot of land to my grandmother. She gifted it to someone else in need, as we already had a home and land. That early lesson taught me a lesson that true wealth lies not in what we possess but in how we give. One night, my grandmother woke me and my little brother—I was about four, he about three. In the darkness, our grandparents and friends hurried us from our beds. It was a time of political unrest; my grandmother, steadfast in her beliefs, had become a target. We traveled silently into the hills; upon reaching a small cabin, they left us alone to keep us safe. My brother and I still remember every detail of that terrifying night, alone in a cabin in the deep, dark woods.By morning, word of our plight spread, and the community gathered to protect us. My grandmother’s years of giving returned to her through those she had helped; they stood by us, keeping us safe.At ten, I moved to the city to live with my father. I missed the sea, the woods, and the laughter of my early years. Amid the city's rush, I felt lost until I witnessed my father's generosity. On some Friday nights, he gave $100 USD to a local store to provide meals to anyone in need, a hundred US dollars was a significant amount in Jamaica in those years.Watching him, I saw echoes of my grandmother. I realized that acts of giving could heal, inspire, and create change wherever we are, and though I longed for my grandmother's countryside, slowly, my own purpose began to take root. Now living in New York, I founded Bunchful to honor givers, coining the term to mean sharing our abundance with others. I believe givers are heroes, and I invite you to join me in celebrating them.Recently, I overcame a rare, deadly cancer that led to an amputation. In those terrifying months of treatment and recovery, I found myself and I'm on a quest to take Bunchful Enterprise public within three years, (Dec 2027 - Jan 2028), a personal mission that has always driven me. Though I don't know all it entails, I'm confident that with the spirit of giving guiding us, we can achieve this ambitious goal. I invite you to join me on this journey.Let’s shine a light on those who give, who transform lives and help heal our world.Together, let’s build a future where generosity knows no bounds.
