This test is now an American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) standard called: "Standard Method of Test for Determining Asphalt Binder Bond Strength by Means of the Asphalt Bond Strength (ABS) Test - AASHTO (T 361-16)".- Areas of advanced rheology, linear and non-linear visco-elasticity, oxidative aging, adhesion, polymer science, and material characterization and modification in terms of chemical, rheological, mechanical, and thermal properties.
