About Raquel Parente
Hi all! I hope everyone is okay and doing well!!! I would like to initiate this text, highlighting that one of the most important things I have learned during my career, is that everyone will do it better doing it as a team! Everyone for the team, and vice-versa. This is the main message I would like to convey as an HR executive first of all. I love to connect with people. For all these years, I have been developing my career focusing on creating structures, teams and environments, aiming some main objectives: Diversity, Inclusion, Equality, knowledge, learning and development . I really believe that the more purpose we have, the more success we will reach. During 20 years or more, I worked in all HR’s subsystems’ areas, such as: Talent Acquisition, Training & Development, Engagement & Culture, HR Benefits & Operations, Performance Management and Business Partner areas, all of this developed in medium and large companies, in markets such as Law, E-commerce, Consulting, Fintechs and Technology. I always kept an eye on taking plans off the ground, and also on never missing the boat, simply because this the way plans work and dreams become reality. Hence, we (yes, we as a team!) implemented several programs such as Knowledge Management, Continuing Education, Development Programs (including the “I want to be a Dev” program) , Leadership Programs, Performance Assessment and Management, On-boarding and Technical Recruitment Programs, Career and Succession’s plans. In addition, we (again, we as team!) were responsible for implementing OKRs (Objectives key Results) management programs, for all Business’ Units in some companies we worked for, ensuring a shared process for creating and monitoring goals and results’ achievements. We have also faced some M&A’s (Merger and Acquisitions) challenges during more than 6 companies’ acquisition processes. Our team was restless and responsible for mapping the whole processes, for People & Culture practices and processes’ unifications, internal communication, etc. I am also very proud that our team overcame challenging goals toward getting our plans off the ground on Engagement & Culture team’s aims, Values Definition Projects, Recognition Programs, Positives Agendas, Conventions and Gatherings. We were always driven by purpose, energy, passion and creativity, to provide environments where we really could act as we, as a team, based on diversity, inclusion, equality, experiences’ exchange and on human development"
