When it comes to building relationships, it starts with sharing stories. As a global marketing communications professional, I’m always looking for ways to make connections through storytelling.Since graduating from college in 2012, I've had incredible career opportunities. Through my agency work, I've served as the account lead on a number of B2B, B2C and nonprofit accounts. With nearly a decade of experience in marketing, communication and public relations, I've sharpened my skills in media relations, crisis communications, message development and branding, community relations, government relations, social media, content writing, event planning and public speaking. I've always enjoyed working with the community, whether it's through a corporation's community initiatives or a nonprofit. I've also taken an interest in personal finance and have been interviewed by LearnVest.org, Forbes, Business Insider, Women's Health Magazine and Pittsburgh Magazine discussing my student loan pay-off strategies. In 2016, I spoke at a women's conference on how to manage personal finance such as paying off debt, budgeting, saving money and improving your credit score. My goal is to continue to share my story.Speaking of goals, I've crossed a few off of my list. I graduated from West Virginia University with a master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and now have the honor of teaching PR classes as an adjunct professor at Duquesne University.In my spare time, I like to bike, kayak and travel. In the summer of 2020, I accomplished a personal goal of biking 330+ miles from Pittsburgh to a Washington, D.C and in 2024, I completed a sprint triathlon. I’m currently training to complete an Olympic triathlon.
