• Worked on demand forecasting problem for the world’s second largest QSR chain using Amazon’s DeepState deep learning model to forecast the sales, transactions, menu items at a store x daypart level for ~11,000 stores across the US. The success metric used for model evaluation process were MAD and WMAPE. Leveraging the model forecast, the inventory management processes were optimized such that the store had optimal inventory for the subsequent days without running out of stock.• Developed Power BI dashboard for a retail company operating around 2,000 stores across USA deemed as essential business during covid-19. Each store is subject to regulations with regards to covid-19 at various levels (City, County, State, Federal). Rapid changing regulations requires swift action to ensure adequate supplies and complete compliance. This Dashboard monitors the employee and store mandates at federal / state / county / city level which helps the operations team to be with compliance and PPE inventory• Worked on a data engineering project for a Fortune 500 transportation and logistics company where my primary task was to deeply analyze each table to look out for patterns in the data, identify various data quality issues and inconsistency which was then been quantified and well documented. This was leveraged by the data engineering team which would provide all the necessary details about the data, what were the various data quality / inconsistency issues and what they expect out of that table
