Leading the development of a Natural Gas Security framework to bring the City of Kitchener into compliance with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority's FS-238-18 code adoption document and the Canadian Standard Association's Z246.1-17 standard - Security management for petroleum and natural gas industry systems. Working with stakeholders across the corporation to ensure cross-departmental oversight and commitment to the security of the Kitchener Natural Gas Distribution System.Leading the assessment and reclassification of the entire Kitchener Utilities operational portfolio of work activities. Accomplishments so far have been the development of a comprehensive Operational Activity Matrix, categorizing all Kitchener Utilities operational tasks by activity type and asset class. Reviewing and revising all Cityworks work order templates, associated cost-centres and internal orders to support accurate budgeting and data analytics.Leading the redevelopment and systematic overhaul of Kitchener Utilities' training, testing and competency assessment programs. This project has resulted in the establishment of the Kitchener Utilities Operations Training Committee.
