I am a senior financial and management executive with extensive international experience at CFO/Finance Director level. I have worked with UK, US and Canadian listed companies; and private companies in the UAE and Thailand.I moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2017. At this stage of my career I am happily semi-retired.However, I am open to interesting contract, advisory or interim opportunities, in Thailand and across Asia, where I can make an immediate and measurable difference, where I can develop or learn new skills and obtain new knowledge at the same time. GEMS is a leading provider of private schools in the UAE and the Middle East. Included raising US$100m through a syndicated loan.3 years as CFO and Company Secretary for Asia Pacific Resources Ltd, a Toronto Stock Exchange and USA listed mining and exploration company with its operations in Thailand. Managed fund raising in 2005. Company sold in 2006 through a negotiated offer to our shareholders.Asia Finance Director (CFO) for 5 years for UK-headquartered global media and information group Reuters plc (now Thomson Reuters). The business generated US$800 million per annum in revenue from twenty Asian countries.Exposure to M&A activities as Asia head of a new media and business development division of the company, in which I successfully completed a number of acquisitions, investments and divestments in Greater China, Asia Pacific, North America and the UK. My international experience includes 11 years in the UAE, 7 years in Canada and 12 years in Asia.
