Managed a packaged marketing database product development initiative that implemented vertical industry specific use cases for clients. The key goal with this initiative was to reduce the total cost and time it takes to gather client specific requirements, architect/design the solution, implement and test the solution and train users to utilize the tool set that provide campaign and analytics capabilities. End-to-end solution included ingestion of client’s data, cleansing & transformation of the ingested data, warehousing the data and building data marts that support campaign, BI and Analytics use cases for clients.Other products/initiatives:-- Built up a product engineering team from ground up, that successfully added analytics capabilities within Acxiom’s Audience Operating System (AOS) platform. Specifically, we built following applications that were part of the AOS platform.1) Insight Lab – This product satisfied the use case of “Audience Extension”.2) Industry Insight Report – Reporting on consumer’s likely purchasing behaviors across all US markets and fifteen industry sectors.3) Personicx Analysis Tool – Enable users to identify key groups of consumers and their attitudes and behaviors. -- Responsible for Engineering, QA and Operations teams for Acxiom’s e-mail marketing platform (Digital Impact). Impact is a SaaS platform enabling clients to setup and execute e-mail campaigns. The platform supported roughly 80 clients and about 2B e-mails/month, with an annual revenue of about $80m. Maintained momentum and stability through departure of many veteran resources, strategy turbulence as well as platform instabilities.-- Lead a team building Acxiom’s packaged marketing database product for small to medium sized clients in Retail, financial, insurance, Automotive, High Tech and T&E markets. The product generated about $20m in annual revenue.

Produced multiple major enhancement releases for Acxiom’s e-mail marketing platform (Digital Impact). Managed Engineering/QA teams through budget crunch and employee reductions, while maintaining momentum on key product goals.AViD is Acxiom’s internal cloud for massively parallel data processing on commodity hardware. The team was responsible for the architecture and development of this infrastructure utilizing a mix of open source, enterprise and home grown software. Most of Acxiom’s core capabilities and products ran within this environment supporting more than $700m of revenue annually. Also, responsible for leading this team through a joint product development effort between Acxiom and EMC Corp. The capabilities included ability to create the cloud from ground up (VMs) and components that allowed few operators to install, configure and manage a cloud environment of 100s or 1000s of machines.InfoBase product suite represents Acxiom’s core consumer segmentation and demographic/lifestyle information base, with a total revenue of ~$100m. Led the engineering and QA teams that worked on developing next generation tools and products to build and deliver InfoBase products. These products ran on Acxiom’s highly efficient and cost effective parallel computing platform called AViD.Adjunct member of the team responsible for building Acxiom’s consumer linking product - AbiliTec.

Worked on the Acxiom Data Network (ADN) project. Responsible for architecture, design and development of various key components.Migration of Acxiom’s legacy products from MF to Windows NT and Unix systems. Responsible for highly efficient and parallel data processing components for the application.

Represented the company in ISO-OSI/ANSI/NIST standards development committees for ISO 8571 (File Transfer, Access and Management protocol). Ported OSF/1 DCE (Distributed Computing Environment consisting of RPC, Security Server, Cell Directory server, Distributed File Server and Distributed Time Server) to Windows NT.Worked on development of software products that complied with ISO 8571 (File Transfer, Access and Management) and ISO 10026 (Distributed Transaction Processing) protocols.
