Current• Installed, configured, and maintained services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, Apache Web Server, Samba, SSH, RPM and YUM Repository.• Using Ansible tools for managing all linux servers • Worked with DBA's, Networking Team, and Developers to resolve their daily issues. • Performed standard system administration tasks such as troubleshooting and problem resolution, patching, installing packages using rpm, apt and yum, drivers, software and hardware upgrades. • Managed disks and file systems using LVM. • Administered PRTG and Zabbix monitoring tools for servers monitoring and incident alerts. • Monitored performance of servers using tools such as htop, top, free, traceroute, etc. • Monitored and maintained the disk space and backup systems, and implemented change controls, capacity planning and growth projections on the systems. • Performed troubleshooting existing user accounts, security objects and authorizations to resolve security conflicts by creating sudo rules, supporting users, setting up new accounts and password resets. • Configuring distributed file systems and administering NFS server and NFS clients and editing auto-mounting mapping as per system/user requirements. Creating, troubleshooting and mounting NFS File systems on different OS platforms.
